Pasture First Research is a professional research company utilising the extensive experience and knowledge that Nigel Johnston has in running scientific pasture seed and agrichemical trials over the last fifteen years.

In New Zealand, Pasture First Research has formed strong links with leading agricultural industry bodies such as DairyNZ and Lincoln University, conducting a number of pasture based field research trials for these industry participants.

In Australia, Pasture First Research is the auditor for the Pasture Variety Trial Network (PVTN) coordinated by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) – auditing over 100 pasture and forage trials throughout Australia

Pasture First Research also have strong links to the private sector, running research trials for seed and AgChem companies.
